Seasons

The seasons determine which crops can be planted, which fish and wild items are available, and which festivals and visiting stalls appear. Each season lasts 28 days, beginning on a Monday and ending on a Sunday. The order is Rebirth → Harvest → Witch → Death.

Planning between seasons

  • Check planting eligibility separately from where and when the seed is sold. Pea Seed is sold at the Harvest Festival but can also be planted in Rebirth; Tomato Seed is sold during Harvest but can also be planted in Witch.
  • Growth times count nights after planting. Leave time for initial growth and any later harvests, and keep watering.
  • Store crops for recipes, gifts, collection bundles and future merchant requests. A requested crop need not have been grown in the season when it is sold.
  • Prepare animal feed and other supplies before Death, when new farm debris stops spawning.
  • Watch the TV for daily opportunities, and consult the calendar for events that have fixed dates.
