Fishing

From Welcome to Elderfield Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

You need to have a fishing rod equipped with the specific type of bait for the body of water you are going to fish in. During fishing, a meter appears on the screen and you must wait until a fish bites the hook to start the minigame.

To catch the fish in the minigame, you need to click repeatedly when the arrow is over the blue bar, until the progress bar fills up.

Skill levels and quality

Fishing level contributes to fish quality. The quality calculation uses one percentage point at levels 0 and 1, then the level number from level 2 onward. Quality can also be changed by bait, equipment and temporary effects. It is separate from which fish the pool selects and whether the minigame is won. Fishing EXP and its midnight level checks are described on Skill Levels.
