Encyclopedia
Encyclopedia is the in-game record of discovered enemies and status effects. The current menu exposes Bestiary and States; other database entry types are not enabled as visible encyclopedia categories.
Bestiary
Enemy entries become discovered through encounters. A discovered entry can show its combat statistics, drops and their chances, skills, sketch and additional notes. The encyclopedia is a record of discovered entries; an undiscovered entry uses the unknown-entry presentation rather than exposing its full information.
The Bestiary can show Difficulty modifications, so the selected difficulty matters when interpreting displayed enemy values. The wiki's Enemies catalogue organises named enemy families and their variants separately from the in-game discovery list.
States
The States category records discovered status effects. Entries provide information about the effect, its removal rules and duration, and the corresponding trait changes or notes. Examples of removal rules include ending after battle, after walking or after damage when that state uses such a rule.
The wiki's Status Effects article contains the maintained effect catalogue. Blessings and Curses describe related effects whose acquisition and consequences can require additional context.
Discovery
Bestiary and state discovery are tracked separately from owning an item or completing a task. Once discovered, an entry can be inspected through the appropriate category. Undiscovered entries display ? ? ? ? ? and the message that the entry has not yet been discovered.
Visible encyclopedia information depends on both discovery and the fields configured for the category. The existence of an item, weapon, armor or skill elsewhere in the game does not mean its category is enabled in this menu.
Relation to the wiki
The in-game encyclopedia is a discovery record. The wiki also provides complete reference catalogues for Items, Weapons, Armor, Skills and Rituals, alongside the enemy and status-effect articles.
