The Calendar records the four 28-day seasons and the recurring events attached to each date. Every season begins on a Monday and ends on a Sunday. The tables on this page are the master schedules transcluded by the individual season pages.

Calendar basics

Feature Details
Year length Four seasons of 28 days each, for 112 days per year.
Week Monday through Sunday. The same weekday pattern repeats in every season.
Season order Rebirth → Harvest → Witch → Death.
Daily timing See Day/Night Cycle for the clock, midnight processing, and passing out.

Recurring events

Event Dates Details
Soul Moon Soul Moon Day 1 of every season A Soul Moon is guaranteed when day 1 begins. It regenerates resources and mines, resets Mysteries, respawns monsters, and fully restores the player while clearing ordinary status effects.
The Tax Man The Tax Man Days 4 and 18 of every season A Pale Moon announces each scheduled visit. See the character page for bills, deadlines, rewards, and penalties.
Travelling Merchant The Travelling Merchant Days 6–7, 13–14, 20–21, and 27–28 of every season The weekend merchant buys selected crops and carries rotating stock.
Church Day Days 7, 14, 21, and 28 of every season The weekly Sunday gathering. See Church for the location guide and its related characters and events.
Fishing Contest Fishing Contest Days 7 and 21 of every season Available after defeating the Ancient Tree. The contest runs from the start of the day until 6 PM at the Old Woods campsite.
Seed Merchant Seed Merchant Harvest, Witch, and Death: days 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, and 26 Sells seasonal seeds. See Seed Shop and Crops.
Decoration Vendor Decoration Vendor Witch: days 3, 10, 17, and 24 Offers rotating decorative stock during the Season of the Witch.

All Hallows' Eve

All day 		Decorated homes in and around Town Wear a costume and visit participating homes for treats, tricks, or battles. The Mayor offers a costume on Witch 26.
Carnival of Souls
Carnival of Souls 		Death 27
All day 		Town, near the park Play three carnival games, earn points, and exchange them at the prize stand.

Moon schedule

Moon events

A Soul Moon is forced when day 1 of each season begins. On every other midnight, the ordinary roll has five possible outcomes.

Moon Ordinary-night chance Effect that night
New Moon 50% No special world reset.
Strange Moon 40% Selects one of six possible Strange Moon effects each midnight.
Soul Moon 2% Regenerates resources and mines, resets Mysteries, respawns monsters, and fully restores the player while clearing ordinary status effects.
Blood Moon 4% Resets Mysteries and respawns monsters.
Harvest Moon 4% Regenerates resources and mines.

No fixed character birthday dates are assigned to the recurring calendar. Character profiles and relationship information are listed on Characters and Relationships; confirmed birthday dates can be added here if they become part of the calendar.
