The Strange Orb

Adam holds the only key to the Catacombs Mines gate. He's given you a strange orb. Break it in "the darkest part of The Old Woods" to lure something. Then, bring Adam its skull.

How to start

Talk to Adam in Catacombs Mines to receive the task. You get Strange Orb.

Requirements

• Strange Orb
• Skull of the Beast

Walkthrough

• Obtain the skull of... something.
• Use Strange Orb from your bag in The Old Woods (Ancient Tree) (it does nothing anywhere else).
• It starts a fight with Hostile Form, which turns into The Beast. Win it and you get Skull of the Beast; the Strange Orb is used up.
• You can flee the fight and try again later — you keep the orb — but losing it is a Game Over.
• Speak to Adam to claim your reward.
• Give Skull of the Beast to Adam in Catacombs Mines.

Rewards

• Catacombs Mine Key
• The key to the Catacombs Mine gate
