Husbandry

Husbandry covers ranch animals, their daily care, and the products they provide. Henrietta sells animals and supplies, while Klaus constructs ranch buildings through the Ranch Buildings shop.

Useful items

• Animal Feed — feeds one animal when placed in a trough.
• Feedmaker — converts Weeds or Raw Hay into feed.
• Milk Bucket — required to milk Tentacows and Black Goats.
• Rancher's Potion — adds 15% animal-product quality until midnight.

Care and friendship

Place one Animal Feed in the appropriate feeding trough for each animal before midnight. Feed can be made from Weeds or Raw Hay in a Feedmaker, or bought from Henrietta.

Feeding and petting can each raise friendship once per day. Missing feed and bad weather can reduce happiness, while higher friendship improves the chance that milk or eggs will be the large version. Animals normally do not appear on the Ranch between midnight and 6:00am, and they do not produce during rain.

Skill levels and benefits

Each Husbandry level adds 1% to animal-product quality. Animal friendship also improves the chance of receiving larger products, and quality can be raised further with a Rancher's Potion.
