Bug Catching

Farmer Hans would like you to catch a rare insect for him. Head to The Old Woods with your Bug Catching Net, and catch him a Pale Empress Moth.

Talk to Farmer Hans in Farmhouse to receive the task. You get Bug Catching Net.

Prerequisites

• First, read Farmer Hans’s letter (it arrives once you are partway through A Fast Food Fiend) in your mailbox.

Items

• Pale Empress Moth (any quality)

Walkthrough

• Bring Hans a Pale Empress Moth.
• Catch Pale Empress Moth with a Bug Catching Net: a 4% base chance per generated Old Woods insect (where to look). While this task is active, a counter tracks insect-generation rolls. Once it reaches 35, the next roll that does not select a Dragonfly is forced to produce a Pale Empress Moth and resets the counter; this counts generated insects, not successful catches.
• Give Pale Empress Moth (any quality) to Farmer Hans in Farmhouse.
