All Hallows' Eve is a trick-or-treating event held on Witch 27. The sun remains down for the entire day, participating homes are decorated, and unfamiliar visitors answer the doors. Wearing a costume allows the player to knock once at each participating home for a treat, a trick, or a battle.
Getting a costume
The Mayor offers one costume on Witch 26 so the player can participate the following day. If this meeting is missed, a costume can still be obtained on All Hallows' Eve. Choose from:
Equip the costume before interacting with a decorated door.
Trick-or-treating
Participating homes are found throughout
Town, the
Farm, the
Ranch,
Greystone Estates, and the entrance to the
Old Woods. Each door can be used only once during the event.
| Outcome | Chance | Result |
|---|
| Treat | 50% | Receive one random candy or drink. |
| Trick | 16.7% | Receive a random negative effect. |
| Easier battle | 16.7% | Fight a less dangerous holiday encounter. |
| Harder battle | 16.7% | Fight a stronger holiday encounter. |
Battle outcomes lead directly to combat; see
Enemies for combat preparation.
Treats
The first percentage in the outcome table determines whether a door gives a treat. The fractions above describe the selection only after the treat outcome has been rolled.
Shops
There is no dedicated All Hallows' Eve shop. The costume and door rewards are the event's special items.
Tips
- Collect and equip a costume before beginning a route through the decorated homes.
- Save inventory space for treats and prepare for combat, since half of the non-treat outcomes lead to battles.
- Visit every participating area before the day ends; each door provides only one attempt per year.
