Placement

Placed as furniture you can use: interacting with it opens its own menu.

Processing

Put an item in, wait, collect the product. This is not crafting: there is no recipe and nothing to learn. 3 conversions, measured in in-game hours.
Input Makes Time
Small Egg any quality
Large Egg any quality
Mayonnaise
or Silver, Gold, Void
4 in-game hours
Small Milk any quality
Large Milk any quality
Cheese
or Silver, Gold, Void
4 in-game hours
Small Goat Milk any quality
Large Goat Milk any quality
Goat Cheese
or Silver, Gold, Void
4 in-game hours

The quality of what comes out is rolled when you collect it, not decided by what you put in — the input’s own quality is discarded. On a successful roll the result is Void one time in ten, Gold two, and Silver the rest. The chance is shifted by Rancher's Luck (+15), Perfect Cookie (+10), your Husbandry level, your Luck (+5 to -5).

Notes

  • It can be placed in Home, Farm, Workshop, Ranch; keep that placement restriction in mind when planning a room, Farm or Ranch layout.
  • Its practical value comes from the processing function described above; place it where allowed before trying to use it.
