Template:Item sprite/doc

Draws an item's icon from the game's icon sheet, looked up by its name or page title. Nothing else comes with it โ€” no infobox, no data โ€” so it can go anywhere a name is written.

Usage

{{Item sprite|Grape Seed}}
{{Item sprite|Grape Seed|link=yes}}
{{Item sprite|Aged Cheese (Artisan)|size=32}}
{{Item sprite|Angler's Vest}}
{{Item sprite|Cheese|quality=Gold}}
{{Item sprite|Aged Cheese (Artisan)|quality=Perfect}}

  • link=yes adds the linked name after the icon.
  • size sets the size in pixels (24 by default); multiples of 8 stay crisp.
  • quality draws that quality's own icon: 1โ€“4, the game's names
(Regular, Silver, Gold, Void), or the Items page's price columns (Basic, Quality, Artisan, Perfect). Left out, or for something with no qualities, it is the ordinary icon.
  • Works for items, weapons, armor, enemies, characters, shops and status effects. Gear can be
written with or without its upgrade level (Angler's Vest or Angler's Vest +7).
  • A name it does not know draws nothing, so a list keeps reading.

It reads Module:Elderfield/Data/Index for the name and the item's own record for the icon number, then draws it the way {{Icon}} does. If you already know the icon number, {{Icon}} is the lighter call.
