• “I came down here to perform an annual survey on the residents, but... I lost my survey papers!”
• “Ugh... I'm going to get into so much trouble...”
• “The town likes to keep a record of who is down here, since it's always changing.”
• “The practice of shedding skin is becoming more and more popular lately, and so the "side effects" are becoming more common as well.”
• “Becoming a skeleton isn't a simple thing for everyone, though. I'm one of the lucky ones.”
• “As for the unlucky ones... They're all down here.”
• “Failed skeletons have a tendency to lose their minds, mutate horribly, or experience any number of other strange and undesireable outcomes.”
• “They aren't fit to live in regular society, and many are downright aggressive, so they just get stuffed down here.”
• “It's pretty sad, really.”
• “...But, that's enough rambling!”
• “If you happen to come across my survey notes while you're down here, please let me know.”
• “I'll get in a lot of trouble if I don't find them...”
