• “For a full day, the sun will not rise, and spooky decorations will be displayed at the homes of all participants.”
• “Costumed citizens will wander about town, clad in their disguises, knocking on the doors of strangers.”
• “As usual, homes will be occupied by unusual beings on this special night.”
• “These special strangers will offer tricks and treats to any who knock at the door, so long as they are dressed appropriately.”
• “Since most would prefer not to spend the evening with these generous intruders, it's best to take part in the fun, and get yourself some candy.”
• “So, make sure you're ready on the 27th!”
• “For my part, I'm doing the rounds today, handing out costumes to any citizen who needs one.”
• “I would offer you a costume, but it appears that you have each of the different kinds already!”

• “If you climb the ladder and lean into the gaping cavity in the effigy, you can place an offering.”
• “You can place any Crop item inside, and if it's good enough, the Effigy will reward you at midnight.”
• “Anything grown at your farm should do - the more valuable, the better!”
• “In any case, I hope you'll enjoy the festival! There are plenty of vendors to check out, as well.”

• “As you can see, the local ghosts have set up shop, and there are all sorts of fun games to play.”
• “It's tough being a ghost, but this ancient tradition celebrates life-after-death, and helps bring the local ghost community together.”
• “If you can earn enough points at the games, you can trade them in for some special rewards at the reward vendor.”
• “Oh, and don't forget to have fun!”
