Help:Shared record tests

These fixtures check that named fields render through the same shared-table contract as ordinary articles. Compare each fixture with the live view after changing a renderer or record structure. Tests must cover links, icons, row ordering, anchors, level tabs and collapsed sections, not only numeric values.

== Cross-view checks ==
* In a sandbox copy, change the Coal offer price under Forge Shop. The shop Stock view and Coal’s Sold at view should both change. Coal’s sell price and other vendors must not change.
* Change Combat Offering’s first ingredient quantity in its Potion Lab recipe record. The laboratory recipe and the item’s recipe card should both change, retaining their respective × n and (n) formats.
* Change a matched item-index field and check every listed category/all-item consumer, without changing other quality variants.
* Change an enemy variant field and check its difficulty/level view. Leave encounter rewards and other variants unchanged.
* Restore test values before publication. Preserve current wiki revisions and retain recoverable prior revisions.

The fixture table adapters are regression examples, not alternative authorities. The named Records modules supply their values. Refresh fixtures when intentionally changing presentation.

== Large-index memory check ==
[[Module:Elderfield/Records/Full index test]] reuses the ordered all-item segments and canonical field owners. It is a full-size regression view, not another item database.

Preview the following in a sandbox; do not embed the complete lookup in this guide:

Compare its table with [[Items/All]], including images, links and ordering. Check the parser's Lua memory and expansion limits before replacing large adapters. Collapsing a test does not avoid its server-side expansion. The data loader only reads its tables; renderers must not modify authoritative records.

[[Module:Elderfield/Shared/Memory preview]] is a compatibility entry point for the same active renderer, not a separately maintained implementation.
