• “I suppose I should be more honest with you.”
• “I am indeed the keeper of these gates.”
• “I did not mean to deceive you.”
• “...I have lost the keys.”
• “Shameful, I know. But, as good as I am at keeping gates, I am not so good at keeping keys.”
• “...And so, the gates remain closed.”
• “If you really need to pass through any of them, you will need to find the keys. Do this, and I would be happy to open them for you.”
• “The first one would be the easiest. I lost it while I was out shopping at the Mall.”
• “It was probably around the food court somewhere.”
• “I would look for it myself, but I dare not leave my post.”
• “Well, not right now anyways.”

• “Praise the gods, you've found it!”
• “With this, I'd be happy to unlock another gate for you.”
• “You may now pass through the south-east gate at will.”
• “ The final key may be a bit harder to find...”
• “I believe I lost it during a town staff conference in the mall.”
• “The meeting was held in an office somewhere in the back hallways.”
• “I'm sure it must still be there, but I imagine those hallways are not open to the general public.”

When: After returning Gate Key #2; retrieve Gate Key #3 from the Mall back-office area; carrying Gate Key #3; the player chooses “Here it is!”.

• “This is it, the final key!”
• “With this, I'd be happy to unlock the final gate for you.”
• “I can finally take pride in my name again.”
• “Thank you, child.”
• “If you ever encounter another gate-related hindrance, do not hesitate to call upon me.”
